Hey! This is awesome! I started researching how to port Psychson to a more recent firmware, and possibly expand the the embedded payload size more than a 16KB (maybe using unused pages at the end of firmware?). Googling around lead me to this site. Since I have no idea what I'm doing, I would love to see you post more content!

yeah sorry, I totally forgot about this project. You need to know this is aimed at unknown chips, because Psychson only works for a specific controller. Phison is the company that produces them and datasheets are rare, so I hoped to be able to guess the register layout from reversing the (now dumped) firmware and comparing it to others. For that I posted how the actual communication with the USB stick is done in order to flash an image and run it. Let me know what you want to know. If you have any phison USB stick around, get a fitting firmware image that doesnt brick it (so you can back it up) and then I can show you how to start reversing it. The link should also show how to setup a new project you can compile in C and then flash on the stick.
